At Moola Inc. (“Moola”, “we”, “our”), your privacy is important to us. We have created this Privacy Policy to cover:
- the information we collect, use and share about you when you use the various mobile or web services or mobile or web software owned, controlled, or offered by Moola, including the Moola App (the “Services”) and why we collect it;
- how we use and share that information; and

This Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time, is incorporated into and is subject to our Terms of Service. Information We Collect
We collect information from you in the following ways:
1. Information that is provided automatically through your device (“Logged Information”)
Logged Information is device-specific information such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, browser, language, and wireless or mobile network information, if applicable; and the date and time that you submit data to us or receive data from us.
2. Information that you manually submit to us (“Submitted Information”)
When you register for an account, you will have the option to register using your Facebook account or your Gmail account, or to register through a separate Moola account. When you register a separate Moola account, we receive your phone number and email address, and other personal information that we ask for and that you provide and we receive. We also ask for, and you may at your discretion provide, other personal information, such as your birthday or shopping preferences. Depending on your settings, we may also collect information about your location through your device’s GPS functionality.
3. Information from third-party providers (“Third-Party Information”)
If you create your account or log in to your account using Facebook or Gmail, you will be forwarded to their respective login pages to connect to your Facebook or Gmail profile (note that your login information is not disclosed to us). Once you are logged in, you will be asked to connect your Facebook or Gmail profile with your Moola account. You will also be notified about what information from your Facebook or Gmail profile will be visible and available to Moola. This is the “Third-Party Information” that we collect, and it includes personal information that you have submitted to Facebook or Gmail and depending on your settings, may also include personal information about your friends or information that Facebook or Gmail has determined about you based on your use of their services. If you do not want Moola to have access to this information, we suggest that you create a separate Moola account and refrain from logging into our Services via Facebook or Gmail.

Prior to providing Moola with any Recipient Information, Business Members must obtain the consent of the applicable Recipient to disclose such Recipient’s personal information to Moola. We may store and use the Recipient Information as necessary to deliver Codes for the Recipient to claim its Purchased Cards. Recipients must register an Account and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy to claim Purchased Cards.
5. Information about your use of Services (“Use Information”)

We compile statistics (the “Aggregate Data”) based on the Collected Information. Aggregate Data does not include information that is personally identifiable to you. We may reject requests for certain reasons, including if the request is unlawful or if it may infringe on trade secrets or intellectual property, or the privacy of another user. We may not be able to accommodate certain requests to object to the processing of personal information, notably where such requests would not allow us to provide our service to you anymore.
Related Party, Sale, etc.
Our systems may allow access to the Collected Information with our related companies, including our parent company, affiliates, or subsidiaries who are also required to honor this Privacy Policy. We may share personal account, device, and payment information with a third-party fraud prevention service to promote the safety, security, and integrity of our Services and to protect you and our other customers from harmful conduct.
We may at our discretion share or sell the Aggregate Data with our merchants, partners, vendors, service providers, or other business entities for business or commercial reasons.
If another company acquires our business or assets, that company will have the Collected Information and the Aggregate Data and will assume the rights and obligations regarding such information as allowed by this Privacy Policy.
Safety and Security Features
We store, use, and maintain the Collected Information and Aggregate Data using procedures designed to limit its loss, theft, or unauthorized access, use, modification, copying, or disclosure.
When you enter your login authentication on Moola, we encrypt the transmission of that information between the app and the server. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the Collected Information and Aggregate Data. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our Services. As well, when applicable, we have contracts in place with our third-party suppliers that obligate such suppliers to protect the confidentiality of the Collected Information and Aggregate Data.
